Sinoda is also an empaneled agent for The Sheriff of The Supreme Court of Singapore to look after arrested vessels pending auction, and agent for Naval vessels. Sinoda is a member of the Singapore Shipping Association.
Leadership
The Managing Director of Sinoda Shipping Agency, Capt. Ashok K. Batura is a Master Mariner himself and well understands the needs of Sinoda’s principals and therefore he and his experienced team is able to provide highly professional top class agency services. Capt. Batura is also the Honorary Consul-General for the Republic of Malta in Singapore. Hence Sinoda maintains very cordial diplomatic relations with all Embassies in Singapore.
Global Presence
Sinoda also offers Global Hub Agency Services, which is a one-stop agency appointment centre wherein Sinoda will act as your agency control centre for the vessels’ calls to Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, China, India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and the Middle East. This Global Hub concept eases the owner’s burden on sourcing for an agent at the mentioned ports and transfer of funds. Sinoda will handle all fund transactions through its Singapore office, thus owners have a one-stop accounting liaison office in South East Asia and the Indian Subcontinent.
In-House Logistics Management
In order to better serve clients, Sinoda has its our own logistics hub, Raks International Pte Ltd, which is a total logistic services provider and an accredited member of the Singapore Logistics Association. Raks has its own equipment such as lorries and forklifts and operates a 10,000 square feet covered warehouse in close proximity to the Port of Singapore.
Raks is able to offer a wide spectrum of services including total ships’ spares management – which includes clearing, forwarding, storing, inventory-control and delivery on board ships, and even storage of off-landed spares from ships pending instructions from our clients. These in-house services help to reduce our clients’ overhead.
